What "a Tansun initiative" means

Who is behind this site

Heating for Churches is built and funded by Tansun, a UK infrared heating manufacturer that has worked with churches since the 1980s. It exists because the information churches need before choosing heating, on technology, running costs, funding and permissions, is scattered and often written by people selling one answer.

Our editorial stance

We cover every heating option church buyers realistically consider, including technologies Tansun does not sell, and we say plainly which option we would choose for a typical UK church and why. Where a competing technology is the better answer for your building, the guides say so.

How we make money

When an enquiry through this site becomes an installation, Tansun benefits from the sale of its equipment. That is the commercial model, stated plainly. Guidance and comparisons are free, and no scheme or grant information is ever gated.
